Clare Bowditch

Clare Bowditch is a musician, broadcaster, sometimes actor, speaker, entrepreneur, and just recently became a top-10, best-selling author.

She has won the coveted ARIA Award for Best Female for her music, the Rolling Stone Woman of the Year Award for her contribution to Australian culture, and was nominated for a Logie for her role as Rosanna on TV show Offspring.

Her book “Your Own Kind Of Girl” was released in 2019 and was a number one seller for Dymocks, Readings and Booktopia.

In music she has toured and performed at every festival, venue and truck-stop Australia has to offer and played with the likes of Leonard Cohen, Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, Gotye and John Butler, to name just a few.

Now she’s on her way to Swan Hill for Go North Arts Festival – and we can’t wait!

Benny Walker

Yorta Yorta singer/songwriter Benny Walker is the real deal. He’s got the lot; the voice, the songs, the showmanship and the looks to kill.

Said to possess one of the best voices in Australia, Benny Walker never fails to take you on an emotionally driven sonic journey.

(And what’s more, he hails form just down the river at Echuca!) He’ll be opening the music line-up at Go North Arts Festival on 3 September, so get your tickets and get in early!

The Northern Folk

Hailing from up the river at Albury and now based in Melbourne, The Northern Folk are a unique collective of 10 songsmiths and instrumentalists.

With two charismatic vocalists, they defy the odds to avoid overcrowding – in sound, if not on stage – creating songs that deftly move from poetic lyricism to horn-saturated eruptions.

With three records across nine years, The Northern Folk have grown from their regional origins to become mainstays of the Australian folk scene.

We can’t wait to see them on the stage at Riverside Park – so much fun!

Freya Josephine Hollick

Freya Josephine Hollick, Australia’s Queen of Cosmic Country is due for a long reign. That is if her forthcoming album The Real World is anything to go by.

Recorded in Joshua Tree with Lucinda Williams’ Buick 6 and renowned guitarist Greg Leisz (Jackson Browne, Eric Clapton), along with her own diamond-sharp band, The Real World is a catalyst. A righteous demand to elevate the feminine energy and call for inclusiveness.

Described as one of five artists leading the new country renaissance by Double J, Freya Jospehine Hollick is on her way to Swan Hill for Go North – come and experience her music for yourself!
